THE FINAL INTERVIEW: NIGEL CABOURN
“Nigel Cabourn recently passed away at 76, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most authentic voices in British menswear. The designer’s life in clothing began in Newcastle, where he studied fashion before selling his early designs to fellow students and eventually building a brand defined by military heritage, vintage research and uncompromising craftsmanship.
In this recent interview filmed in his Newcastle studio, he spoke to Sneak in Peace about his journey, from humble beginnings to the archive that now houses over 4,000 military pieces and anchors his work. For those who seek the authentic, Cabourn remains a standard of integrity and quiet authority in a world of fleeting trends.”
