NY STATE OF MIND

NY State of Mind is artist Joey Glover’s series of hyperrealistic paintings of New York at its most ordinary: an empty subway platform, the Bloody Angle in Chinatown, a Pearl Street diner under a wall of glass, a corner bodega lit like a Hopper. They are also love letters – to a city that is photographed more than any other place on Earth, and that almost no one ever really sees.
