Martha Cooper is one of the most respected names in photojournalism. A legend in New York City, Martha was one of the earliest photographers to document the graffiti scene of the 1970s and 80s. Her first book,
Subway Art (with Henry Chalfant), has sold over half a million copies and is affectionately known as the “bible” of street art and graffiti.
